Gerlinde Anna Paula Lutke, 1928-1991

  Gerlinde Anna Paula Lutke, 62, died Friday, March 8, 1991, at the Golden Age Manor following a short illness.
  She was born near Lubeck, Germany, on Nov. 17, 1928, the daughter of Paula and Karl Lutke. Her parents preceded her in death.
  She was a graduate nurse in Germany following World War II. She came to the United States in 1952 and became a naturalized citizen in 1959. She was a registered occupational therapist and was employed at the VA Hospital in Oteen, N.C. and St. Francis Hospital in Lynwood, Calif.
  She came to Centerville in 1973 and worked at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in the nursing field for several years. The last few years she worked at the Drake Public Library in Centerville from which she retired Dec. 31, 1990.
 The body was cremated. There will be no service held.
  A memorial may be left in her memory to the Drake Public Library and may be left at the Duley Funeral Home or at the Drake Public Library.
