Richard Faye Davison, 1924-1992

  Richard Faye Davison, 67, a resident of 823 South 16th Street in Centerville, Iowa, died Thursday, January 9, 1992 at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Centerville.
  He was born on April 2, 1924 at Moulton, Iowa, the son of Roy and Regina (Crow) Davison. He was united in marriage to Camille Joanne Burley on July 14, 1945 at Centerville. She survives.
  He was born and raised on a farm near Moulton and farmed for several years. He worked at Firestone Tire Co. and also at Goodyear Tire Co. in Centerville with his good friend and owner, Bud McCarthy, for many years as a tire serviceman. His hobbies were leathercraft and long walks with his dog, Bo.
  He was a member and deacon of the Drake Avenue Christian Church in Centerville and was an active member of the Appanoose Co. Animal Lifeline Inc. (Humane Society).
  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lloyd.
  Survivors include his wife, Camille of Centerville; one son, Ed Davison of Osceola; two daughters, Mrs. Ron (Victoria) Ryals of Unionville, Mo. And Mrs. Ron (Janice) Curtis of Orlando, Florida; 8 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; one brother, Gerald Davison of Centerville and one sister, Bethel Ballanger of Coatsville, Mo
  There will be no visitation. The body has been cremated.
  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 1992 at 2 p.m. at the Drake Avenue Christian Church in Centerville with Rev. Carl Heien officiating. Duley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
  A memorial has been established in his memory to the Appanoose County Animal Lifeline Inc. (Humane Society) and may be left at the Duley Funeral Home in Centerville.
