Harold Franklin Anders, 1918-1976

  Harold Franklin Anders, 58, a self-employed painter and decorator and lifelong resident of Centerville, who resided at 1112 West Maple, died in St. Joseph Hospital Monday, August 16, 1976.  He had been in ill health the past four years.
  Born August 8, 1918, in Centerville, he was the son of Harry and Pearl Phillips Anders. On October 22, 1938, he was married to Leonora Thomas in Unionville, Mo., and she survives.
 His father and a daughter, Loraine Anders, preceded him in death.
 Survivors besides his widow include his mother, Mrs. Pearl Anders, Centerville; four sons, Phillip Anders, Atlanta, Ga.; Ronald Anders, Park Ridge, Ill.; Dennis Anders, Philadelphia, Pa.; and Thomas Anders, Centerville; two daughters, Deborah Hiatt and Mary Wood, both of Centerville; ten grandchildren, one sister, Virginia Burton, Davenport; and two brothers, Harry Anders, Jr., Davenport; and Gerald Anders, Waldwick, N.J.
  Services will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home, with the Rev. Douglas Oelke officiating. Burial will be in Jerome Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m.  A memorial has been established.
